Find A Brainrot

Terms of Service

Effective September 30, 2026 · version 2026-09-30 · Terms of Service · Privacy Policy

Find A Brainrot is a location-based collecting game for families. These are the rules for playing it, written to be read rather than skimmed. The whole thing takes about five minutes.

1. Who can sign up

You need to be 13 or older to create an account, and we ask for your year of birth to check. Younger kids don't get accounts of their own: a grown-up with an account adds a kid profile for them from Settings. By adding a kid profile you're telling us you're that child's parent or guardian, you're responsible for how the profile is used, and you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy on the child's behalf.

2. Your household

  • One account is one grown-up sign-in with one adult player and any number of kid profiles.
  • Keep your password, and any PIN you set, to yourself. Anything done while signed in to your account counts as done by you.
  • A kid can play on their own phone through a link code you create. You can see what that phone is up to and unlink it at any time from Settings → Kids.
  • You can see, approve, pause and remove a kid profile's friends, messages and location sharing. Please do.

3. Play nicely

The game is shared with other families, many of them children. So:

  • Pick names and nicknames you'd be happy for a seven-year-old to read. We filter what we can and remove what slips through.
  • Don't harass, threaten or trick other players, and don't pretend to be someone you're not.
  • Don't cheat: no fake locations, no bots or scripts, no poking at the game's insides to get brainrots, coins or items you didn't earn.
  • Report anything that worries you with the report button on a message. We read every report.

If someone breaks these rules we may remove content, pause their messaging, or switch their account off. For something serious, we do that without warning.

4. Playing in the real world

Brainrots appear near where you actually are, so you'll be walking around while you play. Look up, look both ways, and stay where you're allowed to be: never trespass, and never play while driving, cycling or crossing a road. Kids should play with a grown-up's okay and, while they're small, with a grown-up alongside. You play at your own risk; we can't be responsible for what happens around you while you do.

5. Coins, tokens and brainrots

Everything you collect in the game is pretend. Coins, tokens, items and brainrots have no money value, can't be cashed out, and can't be sold or handed over outside the game. There is nothing to buy with real money in the game today. We may change how the game works at any time, including how often things appear, what they cost and how rare they are, and we may reset or remove things to fix a bug or undo cheating. That's part of running a live game.

6. Your words and pictures

Names, nicknames and messages you type are yours; you let us show them inside the game the way the Privacy Policy describes. Photos you take with the in-game camera are made on your device and never sent to us, so do what you like with them. Everything else, from the brainrots and the artwork to the sounds, the code and the name Find A Brainrot, belongs to us or to the people who license it to us. Screenshots and sharing your catches are welcome; copying the game or its characters into something else isn't.

7. Changes, endings and goodbyes

  • You can delete a kid profile, or your whole account with everything on it, from Settings at any time. It's immediate and there's no undo.
  • We can change or stop the game, or change these Terms. When the Terms change in a way that matters we'll post the new version here with a new date. Playing on after that means you accept them.
  • We can close an account that breaks these rules, or one that hasn't been used in a very long time.

8. The fine print, briefly

Find A Brainrot is made by a small team and offered as it is. We work hard to keep it up and fair, but we can't promise it will always be available, bug-free or exactly the same tomorrow. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost play or lost pretend coins. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live, and if part of these Terms turns out not to be enforceable, the rest still stands.
